Serious Crimes Court sustained its initial verdict against Mirjalal Nasrullayev and rejected his appeal today.
According to the verdict, Nasrullayev, founder and owner of nut processing plant in Gakh region, was sentenced to nine years in jail.
In 2007, Nasrullayev together with another owner of the Novruz Huseyinov Factory, misappropriated a 213,000-manats loan meant for investment in production. Huseynov's apartment in Baku was seized.
