The Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan will continue cooperation with the Open Society Institute.
Chairman of the Council Azay Guliyev met with the Executive Director of the Assistance Foundation of the Open Society Institute (OSI-AF) Farda Asadov.
"The sides highlighted the importance of joint competition on projects and other activities held in 2009 on the development of the civil society in Azerbaijan, considered it expedient to continue joint activities in 2010," the Council told Trend today
Guliyev and Asadov also discussed issues on attracting additional financial sources for supporting joint projects and lawmaking connected with the NGO.
"The working group heads were entrusted to prepare and present proposals related to future joint activities between the two organizations for realizing bilateral cooperation," the Council said
Guliyev also met with Elchin Babayev, Executive Director of Science Development Fund under the Azerbaijani President Elchin Babayev.
