A number of propagandistic activities will be conducted in Lithuania with regards to the 18th anniversary of the Khojali Genocide in order to deliver to the public and political circles of Lithuania the truth about the tragedy and the commemoration ceremony honoring victims of genocide, the press service of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told Trend .
Upon the initiative of the Society of Azerbaijanis in Lithuania, an extensive analytical article and photos regarding Khojali genocide were posted on the Lithuanian site www.slaptai.ltXXI century "(" XXI amžius "). The author of the article is well-known journalist and publisher of Lithuania Gintaras Visotskas. Propaganda materials will also be published in the Lithuanian language newspaper "XXI Century" in Kaunas Feb. 24.
On the initiative of the Society, a program devoted to objective coverage of events in Khojali and their legal and political assessment will be held in the Lithuanian language on the radio. Together with local historians, international observers, political analysts, the chairman of the Society of Azerbaijanis in Lithuania Mahir Hamzayev, who will present to the public the facts about the genocide and the position of Azerbaijan, will also participate in the program.
