The Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan Nazim Ibrahimov, who is on visit to Israel, today met with the director of the Nativ Liaison Bureau in the Israeli Prime Minister's Office Naomi Ben-Ami.
The meeting focused on the relations between Azerbaijan and Israel, extension of relations between the media of both countries, the potential and perspectives of cooperation of the Azerbaijani and Jewish diasporas and other relevant topics.
Importance of organization of the visit of the Israeli media to Azerbaijan with a view of conveying wider and detailed information about Azerbaijan, as well as realities of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to Israeli community; the importance of extension of practice and information exchange between journalists and the organization of mutual visits were underlined as well. Significance of joint performances of Azerbaijani and Israeli Diasporas on several issues at international tribunes was noted at the meeting.
The meeting also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
