Deputy Chief of the Baku Police Major General Yashar Aliyev was appointed the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry's General Security Department Head, Ministry's Deputy Spokesman Ehsan Zahidov told Trend.
Interior Minister Ramil Usubov signed the corresponding order.
Based on another decree, Interior Ministry's Rapid Intervention Police Commander, Police Colonel Sehlab Bagirov was dismissed from his post and appointed Deputy Chief of the Baku Police.
Earlier it was reported that Azerbaijani Interior Ministry's Central Security Department Head Medet Guliyev has been appointed the Penitentiary Service Head and Deputy Justice Minister.
