It is necessary to adopt a law on psychological information security in Azerbaijan, chairperson of Azerbaijani Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, MP Rabiyat Aslanova told journalists on Wednesday.

"A man of the 21st century is subjected to many influences. He moves away from the real world and finds his calm in the virtual world, prefers to communicate in social networks. Alienation of man from himself became a problem of today's man. From this point of view, it is necessary give preference to the psychological security of man, his worldview, his view of what is happening," Aslanova said.

She said today a struggle for the human mind is underway in various formal and informal centers of the world.

"Peoples living in Azerbaijan are also subjected to these influences. In order to protect them from this, one should strengthen their moral stability. At the same time a relevant law is required," Aslanova underscored.

She said such a law has been adopted in 35 countries. Aslanova said security spheres expandes every day and information security is very important.
