The Centre for Cooperation of Azerbaijanis and other Turkic peoples, Southern Azerbaijan Independence Party, the International Diaspora Centre, the World Congress of Azerbaijanis and diaspora organisations held a picket-rally in front of the Iranian embassy in Baku on Thursday.
The rally participants expressed protest to anti-Azerbaijani campaign, carried out recently in Iran, Trend correspondent reports from the scene. Protesters demanded to ensure the rights of compatriots in South Azerbaijan and condemned the support provided to the Armenians.
Upon completion of the action participants read a statement and put a black wreath in front of the embassy.
