On June 4-8, Azerbaijan will take part in the fourth session of the General Assembly of States Parties to the Convention on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the main headquarters of UNESCO in Paris, the official website of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism said on Friday.
The meeting participants will address such issues as accreditation of NGOs to the Committee as an advisor and election of new members.
The meeting participants will also discuss the issue of holding in Baku next year of anniversary event of the Convention on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO and the Intergovernmental Committee meeting.
The meeting will involve the Director of International Relations and Cultural Programs Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Vasif Eyvazzade and the independent expert of UNESCO Sanuber Baghirov.
