The President of Georgia confirmed the death of one person at the construction next to the Parliament of Georgia in Kutaisi. Mikheil Saakashvili said about it during a meeting with teachers in Tbilisi.
"I am very upset about death of a person during the dismantling of the building yesterday in Tbilisi, and one fell from the scaffolding and died in Kutaisi. I always insist only specialists and trained people to work in the construction," he said.
The President of Georgia demanded from the appropriate services to ensure safety in the construction.
"We are building very much, and we must protect the people, therefore it is necessary to ensure the safety of people on all international norms," Saakashvili said.
