Georgina citizen will be able to travel to Columbia without a visa in the near future in accordance with the decision of the Colombian side. This and other issues were discussed during the official working visit of Deputy Foreign Minister Sergi Kapanadze to Colombia.

Georgina citizen will be able to travel to Columbia without a visa in the near future in accordance with the decision of the Colombian side. This and other issues were discussed during the official working visit of Deputy Foreign Minister Sergi Kapanadze to Colombia.

The visit was held on July 23, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia told Trend. The Georgian delegation also included Ambassador of Georgia in Colombia (with residence in Brasilia), Otar Berdzenishvili.

Meetings with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Monica Lanzeta, deputy minister of infrastructure Maria Garcia and director of the strategic support of the export Olga Lucia Perez were held in the frame of the meeting.

During the meetings the sides discussed issues of bilateral relations between Georgia and Colombia in the fields of economy, agriculture, infrastructure and sport.

The sides noted the need for the development of political dialogue between the two countries, deepening of the legal framework and exchange of bilateral visits.

Previously, the Panama adopted the decision to impose visa requirements for citizens of Georgia.
