A fire in a hostel in Baku, where IDPs live, has been fully extinguished, a Trend correspondent reports from the scene.
There are no injured as a result of the fire, Baku ambulance and emergency medical services station told Trend on Wednesday.
In connection with nervous shock during a fire six people consulted the ambulance station. Some had high blood pressure. Several people suffered a nervous crisis.
Causes of the fire have not yet been identified, the chief executive of Binagadi district Haleddin Isgenderov said earlier today.
He said the investigation results will be presented to the public.
When asked about provision of those living in a hostel with housing, he said that the IDPs have always been provided with housing.
"After discussing the matter with the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs appropriate measures will be taken," Isgenderov added.
The fire started on the fourth floor of a five-story building in Binagadi district of Baku.
The fire spread to the lower floors and the market located at the bottom. Residents of the hostel left the building. Sounds of explosions could be heard during the fire.
Ten fire brigades have been brought to extinguish the fire.
