Neftchi have become a first club in Azerbaijan`s football history to qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Europa league after they secured a stunning 3-1 away win over Cypriot APOEL Nicosia in the second game of a two-legged qualifying encounter.
Neftchi`s goals came from Javid Imamverdiyev (22) Julius Woobay (30) and Flavinho (60).
The first game, which took place between the teams in Baku ended in a 1-1 draw.
