The Baku State University's annual revenues from concluded contracts on grant programs amounts to $6 million, BSU rector Abel Maharramov told reporters on Wednesday.
Maharramov said there are 43 international programs for the current year. University has signed contracts with 30 countries in the amount of $5 million.
In addition, there are also 24 internal grant programs totaling $1.5 million manat.
All this is a clear example of the attractiveness of Azerbaijani science to foreign investors.
"Today, scientists, who left the country, plan to return. That is, the reverse process," Maharramov said.
