Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 25 / Trend R. Hafizoglu /
The Turkish military-industrial company Aselsan will produce special so-called mobile outposts, TV channel Haber7 reported today.
According to the channel, the mobile outposts are designed for easy installation in the areas, where the servicemen are actively struggling against the militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). They can be quickly delivered and assembled on site, equipped with the necessary equipment and ammunition. The first samples have been successfully tested, the TV channel said.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has lasted for over 25 years. The PKK is recognised as a terrorist organisation by both the UN and the EU.
