One child goes missing in Istanbul, the largest city of Turkey, within an hour, said the Manager of the İstanbul Police Department's children unit Murat Korchak, Anadolu reported on Thursday.
Korchak said that this figure is rather low than it was several years ago.
He also added that 97 percents of missing children are the teenagers between 15-16, who ran away from homes mostly because of violence and only 3 percents are the children, who went missing because other reasons.
