Signs indicating the distance to occupied areas are being installed on Azerbaijani roads, spokesperson for "Azeryolservis" Punhan Mursaliyev told Trend today.
The signs have been being installed since December on the Baku Ring Road, various sections of the road Baku-Alat-Gazakh border with, Mursaliyev said.
These signs have been installed at 70, 71, 130, 140, 150.170 and 200 km from the Baku-Gazakh road, Yevlakh-Ganja section and other parts of the road.
He said that after the Yevlakh-Khojaly-Lachin road, formerly known as Yevlakh-Barda,was undergoing reconstructions and that similar signs have been placed there.
It is planned to install similar signs on other highways in the country in the near future.
