Autumn conscription of young people to the Georgian Armed Forces is completed. Despite the fact that it coincided with the pre-election period, the present appeal was successfully completed a week ahead of schedule.
7,400 young men were drafted into the army. This fact completely satisfied the requirements set by the Ministry of Corrections, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Defense.
In 2012, about 13,000 conscripts have been called for compulsory military service.
