Arrested former head of the Turkish General Staff, Ismayil Hakki Karadayi was released, CNN Turk TV channel reported on Friday.
Earlier it was reported that former head of the Turkish General Staff Ismayil Hakki Karadayi was arrested in Istanbul. Karadayi was arrested on the case of military coup of Feb.28, 1997.
Karadayi was the 22nd Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces.
