Emergencies Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov has clarified the issue of lack of supply of high-rise buildings with natural gas.
"Some companies that have built the buildings, haven't commissioned them, thus there is no municipal infrastructure. To solve this problem, we have addressed the Cabinet of Ministers," the Minister for Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov told reporters on Sunday.
"This issue doesn't need to look for the guilty. It is know that previously the developers were selling houses, and the population was buying them. The warrants were issued at that time. Population is also not to be blamed. As a way out of this situation, it is planned to prepare the acts of state quality for such buildings. Not only the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be involved in this process. The buildings will be provided with gas, water, sewage system only upon signing of these acts. I understand the discontent of population, however, as all other matters, this issue as well must be solved in accordance with laws and regulations," Heydarov said.
Most of the new multi-storey buildings in Baku are not supplied with natural gas.
