In Turkey, penalties will be imposed on passengers violating the rules of conduct in airplanes, owned by Turkish airlines, the Official Newspaper (Resmi Gazete) said on Wednesday.
Thus, passengers who will continue using electronic devices on board after warnings of flight attendants, as well as smoke and ignore seat belts will be fined to the tune of 1.000 Turkish liras.
In addition, passengers contriving fights and failing to meet other requirements of flight attendants will have to pay the same amount.
According to the newspaper, the law on the fines will take effect in 2014.
