Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 20 / Trend T. Jafarov /
At a meeting with Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran Javanshir Akhundov, the head of the Iranian province of Mazandaran Ali Akbar Tahaei has offered to arrange flights from the northern Iranian provinces of Mazandaran, Gilan and Gulustan to Baku, the Iranian news agency ISNA said on Wednesday, Tahaei said.
Making flights from the cities of Sari, Rasht and Gorgan to Baku may stimulate the development of trade relations between the two countries, Tahaei said.
Azerbaijan may buy the required products from the Iranian northern provinces at cheap prices, he said.
Tahaei urged Azerbaijani businessmen to invest in the development of Mazandaran province.
