Drinking alcoholic beverages in public places in the Turkish province of Isparta has been banned, Hurriyet newspaper said on Wednesday.
The corresponding decision was made by provincial governor Memduh Oguz. Earlier, a similar decision was made by the governor of the province Afyonkarahisar.
According to the decision, drinking alcoholic beverages in open and closed facilities is now illegal. Those who do not comply will be fined.
