Turkey will start issuing two foreign passports to its citizens in case of need, Bugün newspaper reported on Monday.
According to the report, two passports will be issued first to business people who travel frequently to other countries. This need arose because of political problems between some countries. For example, business people visiting Israel cannot get a visa to Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries because of the Israeli visa in their passports.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey has started conducting relevant work in order to switch to the dual passport system. To obtain a second passport, Turkish citizens will be required to submit a written application to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
