The Swiss military attache in Turkey, Lieutenant-Colonel Michel Rossier visited the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).
During his visit, the guest was familiarized with ANAMA's Goygol and Fuzuli bases, demining operations in Tartar region. The agency's activity was presented for the guest.
The purpose of the military attaché's visit to Azerbaijan is for a detailed introduction to the agency's activity, as well as SM-EOD system monitoring, presented by Switzerland and intended for clearing mines and unexploded ammunition.
Lieutenant-Colonel Rossier had a bilateral meeting with director of the agency Nazim Ismailov in the general office of the agency. During the meeting they discussed the innovations in the mine clearing, future plans and the purchase of SM-EOD additional systems.
