Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the EL movement Aflan Ibrahimov said earlier that some members of the opposition National Council gave specific instructions regarding the violation of political stability in the country. This included organising clashes in Baku and the regions on the eve of the presidential election, Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov told media today.
According to him, taking into account the seriousness of the issue, the Investigation Department on Heinous Crimes under the Prosecutor's Office continues its investigation.
"Any illegal action will be stopped in accordance with the law," Qaralov said.
