Around 70 Azerbaijani doctors have started working in Turkey's public health department this year, Turkish newspaper Zaman reported with reference to Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu.
According to the minister, 443 foreign doctors applied to the ministry to work in Turkey's public health department.
Muezzinoglu also stressed that along with the Azerbaijani doctors, a number from Iran and Greece are working in Turkey.
Earlier, the Health Minister stated that 7000 doctors were invited to work in Turkey due to the economic crisis in Greece.
