Trend.az tops list again – most influential news source in South Caucasus

The Thematic Citation Index (TIC), calculated by giant Russian search engine Yandex.ru for the website of Trend News Agency - www.Trend.az, amounted to 3,600 as of late October. This figure is the highest among news sites in South Caucasus region.

The Thematic Citation Index (TIC), calculated by giant Russian search engine Yandex.ru for the website of Trend Agency - www.Trend.az, amounted to 3,600 as of late October. This figure is the highest among news sites in South Caucasus region. The TIC determines the credibility of the resource based on qualitative characteristics of references to it from other websites. This qualitative characteristic is called the "weight" of reference by Yandex.

According to data received from Google Analytics, over 7.6 million people visited the website of the Trend Agency from January-October 2013. This number exceeded 804,000 in October. In January-October 2013, the users viewed over 22 million pages of the website. This number exceeded 2 million in October.

Trend is an independent news agency founded in 1995 in Azerbaijan. Trend is popular as a source of accurate and timely information about the politics and economy of Caspian Sea, Caucasus and Central Asian countries.
