A delegation headed by the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will pay a visit to Belarus on Nov.16, spokesperson of the Caucasian Muslims Office Rahima Dadashova told Trend on Nov.15.
The visit will take place on the invitation of Metropolitan of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Filaret.
The purpose of the visit is the participation at the conference "Dialogue between Christianity and Islam in the context of globalization". This is the eighth conference. The first one was held in 2007.
The conference will be organized jointly with Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. The Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office will make a report at the conference that will be held on Nov.17-19.
In addition, religious figures of all traditional religions of the CIS and Western European countries will participate at the conference.
High-level meetings are expected to be held within the conference.
