The use of mobile phones has been restricted for officers and warrant officers of military units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces serving on the contact line between the Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces, spokesman for the Defence Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Vagif Dergahli told Trend on March 6.
The restrictions were imposed to ensure an adequate level of secrecy in these military units.
Dergahli stressed that the restrictions on the use of mobile phones do not apply to the servicemen of other units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
