A new director has been appointed to the Baku office of the National Iranian Radio and Television.

Iranian embassy to Azerbaijan told Trend on May 20 that Mehdi Rasi has been appointed to this post, replacing Ahmad Kazimi, who served on this position for the last 5 years.

New director Mehdi Rasi has already arrived in Azerbaijani capital of Baku.

Rasi has previously held the deputy director posts at the National Iranian Radio and Television's offices in Iran's East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan Provinces.
