"Your contributions to the development of friendship between the peoples living in the South Caucasus and Black Sea areas are invaluable," Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II said at the international conference "Inter-religious dialogue: from mutual understanding to joint cooperation" dedicated to the sixtieth-birthday of chairman of the Clerical Office of Caucasus Muslims Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh and thirtieth-anniversary of his activity.

He said that there are a number of common problems disturbing both Azerbaijan and Georgia. "One of them is a violation of the territorial integrity of both countries. South Ossetia and Abkhazia are integral parts of Georgia. The events in these areas have been created artificially", - the Catholicos-Patriarch said.

Ilia II expressed hope that the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Georgia will sure to be restored. "If we want peace in the Caucasus, the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Georgia must be restored. If today we speak about peace, we must say that peace and justice must be together. No peace is possible without justice," he said.
