Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan receives honorary doctorate

The International Ecoenergetics Academy presented an honorary doctorate degree to Iranian Ambassador in Azerbaijan Muhammad Bagir Bahrami, the embassy's Press Service head Abbas Iskenderi told Trend News today.

Iskandari said the ambassador was awarded the doctorate for his ecological research.

The level of scientific development in Iran after the Islamic Revolution is high, International Ecoenergetics Academy President Fagan Aliyev said at the awards ceremony.

"We are proud that young Iranian scientists actively deal with world sciences," Aliyev said.

Aliyev said Bahrami presented an article on new scientific theories and the negative influence of oil energy on the ecology at the Tenth International Ecoenergetics Conference.

Bahrami is also the author of several articles and books on ecology.
