Georgian Constitutional Court's Vice President, Konstantine Vardzelashvili was elected vice chairman of the UN Human Rights Committee in Geneva on March 14.

There are 18 independent experts in the committee, who elect the chairman and vice chairman for two years, according to the press service of the court.

Vardzelashvili has been a member of the UN Human Rights Committee since 2012.
