List of documents for temporary importation of vehicles in Azerbaijan announced
The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan has published a list of documents that should be submitted for temporary importation of vehicles into the country, the SCC reported.
From Aug.16 supporting documents will be needed for customs clearance within temporary importation procedures from the owners of motor vehicles and their trailers (semi-trailers) with permanent registration in foreign countries temporarily imported into the territory of Azerbaijan and inadequate Euro 4 ecological standards.
It is necessary to submit declaration, passport, the document confirming permanent registration of the vehicle in the manufactured country (certificate of state registration), the power of attorney provided by the owner of the vehicle in case of it being used by another person, as well as a temporary residence permit or a decision to extend the period of temporary stay in Azerbaijan, if the motor vehicle is imported from countries with a visa regime or in case of necessity.
In accordance with the customs legislation of Azerbaijan for the period of a vehicle's presence, a vehicle can be temporarily imported into the country for a total of 90 days.
