The Georgian-Ossetian conflict will not be amongst the priorities during Kazakhstan's chairmanship to the OSCE in 2010, the head of the expert group of Information and Analytical Center at the Moscow State University named after M.Lomonosov Alexey Vlasov told Trend News.
"In my opinion, no question of Abkhazia or Ossetia will be amongst the priorities of the agenda of Kazakhstan within its OSCE chairmanship, said Vlasov.
Today, all themes in Georgia are political, the expert said, and therefore, there are not economic reasons here.
"It needs to understand that if in the situation with Azerbaijan and Armenia it is possible to find economic reasons for opening the Turkish-Armenian border - these are the interests of Russian or of Turkish business, the Armenian diaspora, then everything connected with Georgia is politics. The economic logic does not work here, said Vlasov.
At the same time, according to the expert's opinion, the solution of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict will be possible only when a normal dialogue will be possible between Georgia and Russia.
