Two Pakistani soldiers were killed and ten people including five security men were injured in three bomb attacks in northwest Pakistan on Sunday, officials said.

A roadside bomb exploded when security personnel were patrolling in Sargha area of North Waziristan, killing two soldiers at the scene. Another was also injured in the attack, Xinhua reported.

The attacks took place as the authorities have started repatriation of the tribesmen displaced as the result of fighting between the security forces and Taliban militants.

In another incident, four people were injured in a blast outside the house of a provincial minister in the outskirts of the northwestern city of Peshawar, police said. Those injured were stated to be relatives of the minister, Arbab Ayub, the police chief, Liaquat Ali Khan said.

The minister remained safe as he was at his guest house at the time of the blast. The police said the minister was to leave the house in few minutes. The minister belongs to the provincial ruling Awami National Party which is supporting military operations against the militants.

Khan said that unidentified men had planted the bomb to an electric pole outside the house of the minister and it exploded when his relatives arrived in their car.

Meanwhile five security men were injured in a roadside bomb blast in Mohmand tribal region, officials said. The bomb exploded near the vehicle of security forces. The blast destroyed the vehicle.

No group claimed responsibility for the attacks. The government blames Taliban for such attacks.
