Iranian MP: Judicial system also concerned over possible violations in elections

The Judicial system has set up headquarters for fraud prevention in the elections as it is concerned over about possible violations in the parliamentary elections to be held in Iran in 2012, İLNA news agency quotes Iranian MP from the reformist camp Masoud Pezeshkian as saying.

The Judicial system has set up headquarters for fraud prevention in the elections as it is concerned over about possible violations in the parliamentary elections to be held in Iran in 2012, İLNA news agency quotes Iranian MP from the reformist camp Masoud Pezeshkian as saying.

"Creation of the headquarters to prevent fraud in the elections is due to the fact that it is concerned over possible violations in the parliamentary elections," Pezeshkian said.

The headquarters to prevent fraud in the elections was set up by the instruction of the head of the Iranian Judicial system Sadiq Larijani on Nov.22..

Parliamentary elections in Iran are scheduled for March 12, 2012. Elections in Iran are held under the control of the Interior Ministry and the Council of Guardians.
