The Iraqi government has allowed Iranian entities to establish schools in the country, the Iranian consul general to the city of Kerbela said.
Mohammad Alikhani told Mehr news agency that the Iraqi education ministry has issued the permission for establishing Iranian schools in the cities of Kerbela and Najaf.
Each year, thousands of Iranians travel to Iraq to visit holy shrines at Najaf, Samarra and Kerbela.
