Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan to expand cooperation in economic area

Azerbaijani Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister Ulugbek Rozukulov have discussed expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the economic sphere, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development said today.

A meeting was held with the Azerbaijani economic development minister during Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister Ulugbek Rozukulov's business visit to Baku on Thursday.

They have discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the economic sector, including the development of relations between Azerbaijani and Uzbek entrepreneurs.

While stressing the importance of relations in this area, Mustafayev said that at present, Azerbaijan's economic development is stable. There is a favourable investment situation in the country.

Rozukulov said that the two countries have great potential to develop economic relations.
