Iranian and Afghan deputy foreign ministers on Sunday acknowledged strategic nature of Tehran-Kabul relations, calling for enhanced cooperation between the two countries, dpa reported.

Visiting Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs and Commonwealth of Independent States Abbass Araqchi and Afghan Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Javed Ludin in Kabul emphasized the need to develop economic cooperation.

They said Iran and Afghanistan enjoy many cultural, religious and historical affinities serving as the reserve for their good relations and cooperation.

Araqchi said the Islamic Republic of Iran is keen on sharing experience with Afghanistan on justice administrative affairs.

He said that Afghan judiciary officials will visit Tehran to get familiarized with legal code of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Ludin said Afghanistan is willing to develop cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of justice administration and enjoy experience of Iranian Judiciary officials.
