As a result of a car crash, 9 people died and two more were injured in Iranian Sistan-Baluchestan province, IRNA reported.
Reportedly two cars collided on the Zahedan-Zabol highway.
Sistan-Baluchestan highway police chief Abdol Reza Salehi said that the crash occured last night.
"All of the people involved in the crash were members of two families. One of the drivers lost control of the vehicle, which resulted in the collision," Salehi said, adding that three children are among the dead.
