Ten people were arrested in Iran's Qom city during the investigation of the shoe-throwing incident involving Iran's Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani, Iranian judiciary spokesman Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei said, Fars news agency reported.
On Feb. 13, a group of people, who were said to be followers of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, threw shoes at parliament speaker Ali Larijani, while he was addressing a gathering on the occasion of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
The parliament speaker was forced to cut his speech and leave the place, while about 100 people chanted slogans against Larijani and in favor of Ahmadinejad.
Speaking on the issue of recent confrontation of Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Ali Larijani in the parliament, Mohsen-Ejei said Larijani's brother Fazel Larijani was called to arrive in court for questioning.

Mortazavi was suspended from his judicial post over the torture deaths of three protesters in custody after the 2009 presidential election, which the opposition claimed was rigged in Ahmadinejad's favor, bringing huge crowds onto the streets.
