The State Committee on Property Issues of Azerbaijan and the Federal Ministry of Finance of Germany signed a memorandum on mutual agreement and co-operation in the sphere of management and privatization of state property, as reported by the Committee.
The report of the Committee was published in its "Mülkiyyət" newspaper on Saturday.
The document was signed by the chairperson of the State Committee on Property Issues Karam Hasanov and the director of the Department of Management and Privatization of Federal Property of the Federal Ministry of Finance Bruno Kahle.
After the signing ceremony in Berlin the parties held discussions on implementation of measures indicated in the memorandum.
The memorandum sets such directions of co-operation as improvement of legislation in the sphere of management and privatization of state property, exchange of experience and information, provision of consulting services, attraction of investments to the process of privatization, etc.
