Our knowledge sets us apart for 15th time

We turn our know-how into actions that benefit our clients and now we've been recognized as a Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE).

We were one of 20 Global MAKE 2013 winners - including Toyota, IBM, Samsung, PwC and Deloitte - selected by a panel comprised of Global Fortune 500 senior executives and knowledge management and intellectual capital professionals. It's the 15th time that EY Knowledge, part of Global Markets, has won this accolade.

EY was specifically commended for creating a learning organization - for example, by converting individual experiences into enterprise-wide knowledge with tools like our knowledge-sharing platform ASK, and developing a successful organizational learning infrastructure, such as our intranet.

Get the edge

The MAKE win highlights the fact that our long-standing reputation in knowledge excellence gives us a distinctive edge in the market, says Jeff Green, Global Knowledge Leader.

"Clients look to us for fresh, relevant insights that reflect their business needs and they expect to see our global connectedness in every interaction they have with us," he explains.

"By sharing what we know and what we've done, we can work smarter, faster and better. EY's best work is at your fingertips and, with Yammer, we can now collaborate in real-time from any mobile device to be more responsive than ever."

EY in Azerbaijan

EY has made a major commitment to Azerbaijan and the region with the opening of our office in Baku 19 years ago and the growth of our local financial service industry group. Today, in addition to being a leading audit firm in Azerbaijan, we are the leading firm in the region. Because of our experience and depth of knowledge, we have been able to assist both domestic and international companies as well as state-owned entities in developing them to face the challenges of the international economy.

We currently have more than 140 staff in our Baku practice, which serves our clients in Azerbaijan. The strength of EY in the Caspian Region and the firm's commitment of resources are important to the entities operating in the region. It means that as we grow, EY will continue to demonstrate a tradition of hiring and training local professionals to be leaders in our practice.
