U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland met with Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili as part of her visit to Georgia.
Nuland is meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the moment.
"I congratulate the Georgian government and people on the free and fair elections, as well as the progress toward Europe," Nuland told media. "I want to congratulate the Georgian people with the initialing of the association agreement with the EU."
