Georgian Economy Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili is ready to meet with Iranian businessmen working in the country to solve problems concerning them. The minister told journalists in Tbilisi on Dec.27.
"Georgian government has not created any problems for Iranian businesses. It was about the normalization of migration and visa policy, which concerned many other countries," Kvirikashvili said.
In recent months repeatedly information spread that Iranian companies in Georgia are facing problems complicating their work in the country.
The Minister stressed that the Georgian authorities are very eager for tourists from Iran to continue coming to the country.
"Regarding banking relationships, in this respect, the problems of Iranian companies are associated with the international sanctions. On the contrary, we welcome the work of Iranian investors in the country, as the investment inflows are very important for us," Kvirikashvili said.
