Tbilisi, Georgia, Jan. 9
By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend:
This morning, Georgia's central highway Tbilisi-Senaki, was blocked for two hours in the town of Ruisi. As the Emergency Management Department under the Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend, it was caused by a large scale car accident, which occurred because of fog and ice on the road.
As a result of poor visibility 17 cars collided.
Fortunately, only two people were injured and were taken to the hospital at Karelia. Their condition is satisfactory.
The police managed to clear the road of accident vehicles in two hours and normal traffic movement has been restored.
