Issues of attracting Australian investments to Georgia were discussed in Tbilisi by Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Australian Ambassador Ian Biggs, the press service of the head of Georgian state told Trend on Jan. 9.

"The business environment in Georgia favours attracting Australian investments, which will create additional opportunities for Georgia," the ambassador said.

He noted that Australia considers Georgia a partner country and supports its territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The sides also discussed cooperation within the framework of international organizations, including in the UN format. They supported deepening of relations in the sphere of politics, economics and culture.
