Service personnel wounded during military operations or while performing a peacekeeping mission, as well as members of their families will be able to undergo treatment at the Tserovani rehabilitation centre.

It has opened in the former residence of the Georgian president in Tserovani (Shida Kartli region, settlement of refugees), which was transferred to the Ministry of Defence, the Georgian Defense Ministry told Trend on Friday.

Defence Minister Irakli Alasania visited the Rehabilitation Centre. He became acquainted with its infrastructure and living conditions. The minister also had lunch with the service personnel and members of their families who are undergoing treatment, according to the information.

Patients are treated under the constant supervision of staff from a medical battalion.
