Uzbek Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Spain (with a residence in Berlin) Durbek Amanov delivered his credentials to the King of Spain Juan Carlos I, Jahon news agency reported on Monday.

The King of Spain and the ambassador discussed issues of developing the bilateral Uzbek- Spanish relations.

Juan Carlos I stressed Spain's interest in intensifying the cooperation with Uzbekistan in political, trade - economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. It was stressed that there is a great potential for further expanding the cooperation.

At the end of the conversation, Juan Carlos I wished success to the Uzbek leadership and people.

Durbek Amanov replaced the head of the Uzbek diplomatic mission Dilshod Ahatov, who was Uzbek acting ambassador to Spain with a residence in Berlin and completed his mission in September 2013.
